End the 2001 AUMF

VoteVets

In 2001, just days after 9/11, Congress passed an Authorization for the Use of Military Force to defeat those who “planned, authorized, committed, or aided” those horrific attacks.

Since then, we’ve used that AUMF to send our troops here:

Afghanistan

And here:

Yemen

And here:

Philippines

And here:

Ethiopia

And here:

Somalia

When many of them should really be back here:

The United States of America
We’re fighting to repeal the 2001 AUMF. But there are a lot of powerful people and interests who would rather see our country involved in endless war.

So we need to ask for your help:

Make a $10 donation to VoteVets today and we’ll put it right to work elevating the voices of veterans and military family members in the fight to repeal the 2001 AUMF.

Enough is enough. It’s time for Congress to re-assert its authority as the branch of government with the power to declare war.

All our best,
The team at VoteVets
